Pamela Scott-Crace

Halifax

As a past editor of Progress, Pamela Scott-Crace has produced multi-channel content and events for regional audiences. Her favourite stories always featured creativity, innovation, and enterprising spirit. For her, it’s this connectivity that enables organizations and societies to flourish.

Pamela is a proponent of multi-disciplinary thinking. In a world of complexity, we need to harness the power of as many imaginations as possible to chart our way. With this in mind, she’s excited about engaging with the Council, which brings wide perspectives of culture and creativity to the conversation about sustainable economies.

As a community volunteer, Pamela is chair of Mocean Dance, a contemporary dance company that presents and tours regionally and nationally. She serves the boards of Discovery Centre and Engage Nova Scotia, and the Halifax Viennese Opera Ball event committee. She worked on Progress Magazine for 18 years. When she’s not in Halifax or parts unknown, Pamela can be found in Martins River with her husband, architect John Crace, enjoying time with their extended family and friends.
