Troy Greencorn’s career has spanned numerous senior roles in the culture sector, all with a community development dimension. He spent nearly a decade working with the East Coast Music Association, presenting the ECMA Event throughout Atlantic Canada. Currently, Troy is the Creative Director for the deCoste Centre, a 400 seat performing arts centre in Pictou, Nova Scotia. The deCoste presents upwards of 100 events per year.

Troy is also the founding and ongoing Artistic Director of the Stan Rogers Folk Festival. “Stanfest”, as it has become known, is an international songwriters’ festival that presents accomplished songwriters from a range of genres. Annually, Stanfest brings upwards of 60 artists/groups to Canso, Nova Scotia for the three-day, seven stage festival.
